Visit To Tadkeshwar Mahadev Temple, 17 Kms (35 Minutes)

This holy shrine of Shiva, is believed to be an ancient hindu temple. Located amidst thick forest of deodar trees, at an elevation of about 2000 meters is just 35 minutes away . The temple is encircled with thousands of bells which are offered by the devotees. The drive from the Villa to the temple is very scenic with panoramic views of the valley. We highly recommend this as one of first things to do.

Chinbo Waterfall (15 Minutes)

Chinbo waterfalls are set in unspoiled wilderness, across babbling brooks, and over rugged terrain. A small trail leads to this untouched marvel.Towering trees create a lush, green canopy, with sunlight filtering through leaves as you walk towards it.The waterfall's gentle roar drowns out the world, immersing you in nature's untouched splendor. Dip your toes in its icy waters or simply ponder its beauty.

Madhugangeshwar Temple, 10 Kms (20minutes)

If you wish to take an adventurous drive around, this is the place to go. The temple is located at the banks of river Madhuganga River. After Kedarnath this is the first Sddhi peeth on the river. The road that leads to it passes through spectacular views of mountains ,tress and nested villages in between them. On most of the days, clouds are floating over the mountains adding to the scenic views.

The main temple is built around a rock which is still worshipped as the idol. The temple is deeply revered among the local villages and carries out regular bhandaras in Saavan and on festivals.

Kalagarh Tiger Reserve, 30 Kms (75 Minutes)

Kalagarh Tiger Reserve is a part of Corbett National Park situated in the Lansdowne region of Uttarakhand. When Jim Corbett Park was established in 1974, the northern region of the park was renamed as Kalagarh Tiger Reserve.

A drive of just 75 minutes would take you this reserve. While you relax amidst nature, an experience in the jungle reserve could complete your trip to the mountains.

Camping On Hill Top

A small trek from the house, up on the back mountain will bring you to a table top. The mountain top is surrounded with pine trees and overlooks the whole valley. A space ideal for camping, where you could put your tents and experience staying in the wild with close proximity to home. The availability of open green spaces makes it an ideal spot for setting up camps and indulging in a night of bonfires, good food and good vibes. From hill top you can have 360 degree view of all the villages, Lansdowne and kalagarh reserve.

Lansdown City, 16 Kms (35 Minutes)

Lansdowne is one of the quietest and unspoiled hill stations of India and has been a popular destination since Britishers came to India. Encircled by the dense oak and blue pine forests, Lansdowne appears like an old painting. This is the nearest town for the people living in this area and has many attractions for visitors. A day trip to explore the city attractions would be ideal.

Snow View Point (10 Kms, 20 Minutes)

The snow point is located at a vantage point in Chakulyakhal. The snowcapped mighty peaks, verdant green forests and a bird's eye view of the valley below is sure to mesmerize you. The visible range of Chaukhamba belongs to the Gangotri group of Garhwal Himalayas. The view point is led by a beautiful mesmerizing drive from Villa overlooking the whole valley below. Take that leisurely ride to be captivated by the beauty nature has to offer.

Walk To Asankhet Village, (15 Minutes)

Asankhet is home to many families who have been living here for generations. Take a walk to experience the simple life led by these people. While you take this walk, you can also see the cave in the valley which is a home to family of bears. We assure you that you would be no stranger to their warmth and love that they will shower on you. Many houses are drawn from traditional building techniques with locally sourced material. A special lunch with local food in the village can be arranged upon request as a part of cultural experience for you.
